Reservations:

In order to ensure your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment a week in advance to be able to schedule your desired time frame. Appointments can be booked on Vagaro or through the links on this site. We may request a credit card on file to complete any bookings.  This is needed to finalize the appointment and have a touchless payment option for you.

Phone Calls:

The Skin Studio phone number is (262) 544-2040. Due to the appointment based nature of these services, I may not always be available to answer the phone.  Please leave a detailed message or text with the answering service and I will return your call as soon as possible.  I may return your message with a text in some cases to be as quiet as possible and sensitive to the needs of the massage therapist on the premises.

 

Arrival/Late Arrivals:

We respectfully request that you arrive 5 – 10 minutes before your appointment. This is so you can fill out any necessary forms, decompress, or use the restroom.  Public restrooms are located down the hall from the Skin Studio and on the second floor.

Please turn off cell phones and devices upon arrival for your relaxation and the relaxation of others. 

Unfortunately, untimely arrivals may be subject to a reduced treatment time, with respect for subsequent guests. In consideration of other guests and my increasingly tight schedule, I regret that we may not be able to accommodate late arrivals over 15 minutes. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late and I am unable to complete your service within the remaining time, your appointment will be shortened to meet the time constraint. Any service add-ons may have to be altered or cut to accommodate the timing needs. The final price will reflect the original service booked.

Cancellations/No Shows:

Your Spa Service is reserved especially for you.  Should you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify the Skin Studio more than 24 hours in advance.  Rescheduling can be performed on Vagaro.com as well 24 hours before the service.  Please allow 72 hours of notice if rescheduling or canceling group appointments or multiple (3 or more) services.  

Cancellation Policy: 

  • First Offense: As I understand that mistakes happen and things don’t always go as planned, I will forgive 1 No Call or Same Day Cancellation situation. However, I will send a notification of the No Call/Same Day Cancellation and it will be saved in my records. A reminder of the policy will be emailed that day. 

 All Following No Calls/Same Day Cancellations: 

  • No Call/No Show: Failure to show up for your scheduled appointment will result in a 50% charge of the booked service. 
  • Same-Day Cancellations or Reschedules: If you cancel or reschedule on the same day, a 50% service charge will be applied to the original booking. 
  • Repeated Offenses: Any subsequent no-shows, same-day cancellations, or reschedules will result in a 100% service charge for the appointment. If a guest fails to show up for an appointment without prior notice more than once, I may refuse future services or require a deposit for any future bookings.

This is a Wellness Establishment:

The Facial Spa Services are here to improve your wellness and relaxation. If the service provider considers the environment threatening in the treatment room or a person is behaving inappropriately, that situation will be immediately handled and the occurrance will be immediately documented. I strive to create a safe, comforting and mindful environment.

Cell Phones and Electronic Devices:  

Cell phones and devices should be turned off in the treatment room for your relaxation. Devices should not be in use in public areas of the microspa facility.

Medical Conditions:

All guests are asked to fill out a brief skin questionnaire e-document/waiver sent via email or presented on an IPad upon arrival.  Allow an extra 5 -10 minutes before your appointment for filling out any necessary forms.  Please declare any medical conditions on your online questionnaire and to the service provider.  Certain services and products may not be advisable to you.  We ask about medications and allergies to best serve you and take care of your skin.

The Skin Studio does reserve the right to deny any service that is deemed to be unsafe for the guest due to underlying health concerns, allergic reactions, medication contraindications, and existing skin disorders.  A different service or waiting period will be advised that is suitable to the guests needs.

The Facial Spa Services are for wellness, beautification, skin care education, and relaxation purposes and make no medical claims.

Product Returns and Exchanges:

Unopened and unused product can be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange.  A sales receipt will be needed at the time of the refund or exchange.

All service and gift card sales are final.

Discounts, Specials and Promotions:

Only one discount or promotion can be used per service or product. 

Specials and discounts can be offered at anytime. 

Prices and Service:

Although we make every effort to keep our website and spa menu updated, prices and services are subject to change at any time.

Age Requirements:

Although we encourage good skincare habits at any age, skin care guests under 18 need the approval of or be accompanied by an adult guardian.

Modesty and What to Wear to a Facial Spa Service:

The service provider will give instructions as to the changing and body positioning needs for your treatment.  They will leave the room for you to change and get onto the table.  A spa wrap is offered for additional warmth and modesty.  The service provider will have you covered by either towels, sheets, blankets or spa wraps depending on the treatment.  Only the area being treated will be exposed at any given time.  The service provider will also remove themselves from the treatment room before you leave the table.  Feel free to ask the service provider about any questions you have about draping or changing.

The LED Microfacial, Peel and Smooth Treatment and the Express Facials do not require changing as they are shorter booking times and only need the face to be exposed. Draping will be provided for protect your clothing.

Please leave any valuables and jewelry at home.  There is a rack and hangars to place personal items, but no lockers are available in the treatment room.

Cleanliness and Sanitation is important at the Skin Studio.  The treatment room, retail area, and waiting area are consistently cleaned and disinfected.
